Stainless Steel 316L Seamless Pipes
Metallurgical Composition:
316L (UNS S31603) features a carbon content capped at 0.03% to prevent carbide precipitation during welding. The alloy's corrosion resistance stems from its 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and critical 2.0-3.0% molybdenum additions. Nitrogen (0.10% max) enhances strength, while manganese (≤2.0%) improves hot workability. Phosphorus and sulfur are restricted to ≤0.045% and ≤0.030% respectively to minimize hot cracking risks.
