UNS N10276 contains 15-17% molybdenum and 4-7% tungsten, creating a PREN >80. Carbon is restricted to <0.01% to minimize carbide precipitation. Iron content <7% eliminates iron oxide inclusion.
HCl Resistance: <0.1 mm/year @50°C/20% concentration
SCC Threshold: >205 MPa in boiling 45% MgCl₂
Pitting Temperature: 110°C in 6% FeCl₃
Intergranular Attack: Passes ASTM G28 Method A
Hot extrusion at 1260°C with 8:1 reduction ratio. Solution annealed at 1121°C ±15°C. Mandatory ASTM G150 CPT testing. PMI verification of Ni/Mo/W ratios by OES.
Sulfuric acid concentrators (93-99% at 90°C)
Wet chlorine gas headers
Flue gas desulfurization (FGD) absorber modules
